Claims

Claiming land on our server is completely optional, but if you want extra peace of mind that nothing will be disrupted while you're away then it's highly recommended. Claims will give you full control of who can build, interact, or enter your area.

WinterCrest is a non-grief server, so any grief will be rolled back by staff regardless of if the area is claimed or not. Your builds are important, and we take grief very seriously as nobody should have their hard work ruined. However, claims provide automatic protection and prevent such problems before they ever happen.

All claims protect your land from bedrock to sky, so everything within your boundaries is secured.

To claim land, you run /claim in chat and right-click two opposite corners of the area you want to protect. Once both corners are selected, the area between them will become your claim.

Protection includes, but is not limited to:

• Blocks cannot be broken or placed by unauthorized players
• Containers cannot be accessed (although that is also protected via our automatic lock system)
• Entities cannot be harmed/killed.

If you wish to remove your claim, you run /unclaim while standing inside it. All tokens used to create the claim will be fully refunded.

Claim size is determined by claim tokens. 1 Claim token equals to 2 blocks. Every hour you are online you gain 100 claim tokens. You can also transfer your tokens to another player via /claimtokensgive <player> <amount>.

Subclaims allow you to create separate protected areas inside your main claim. These are perfect for towns, shops, staff-only areas, private rooms, ect.

Subclaims are completely free and do not use claim tokens.

To create a subclaim you run /subclaim and right-click two opposite corners inside your main claim.

To remove it you run /removesubclaim.

To view your subclaims you run /claimsshowsub within your current claim.
